Ostrich Festival 2023 - Community Day (Thursday)

The 33rd annual Chandler Chamber Ostrich Festival announces its annual Chandler Community Day in which all Chandler residents are eligible for complimentary tickets to the festival on Thursday, March 16.

The evening will kick off with “Kids Shaping Our Community,” which showcases talent and performances by children of the Chandler community.

All Chandler residents will have the opportunity to claim two adult and up to four children’s tickets free of charge for the festival on Thursday, March 16. 

“We’re happy to celebrate and highlight the city’s history and bring the community together for the second year of Ostrich Festival’s Community Day. If you live in Chandler and haven’t had a chance to experience the Ostrich Festival, this is your chance,” said President and CEO of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, Terri Kimble.

To take advantage of this offer, Chandler residents will enter their residential address, including their zip code at online checkout in the promo code section to claim their free tickets. This offer will expire on Monday, March 6 and is only available online.

Attendees who have pre-purchased their tickets online or in stores can pick up their wristbands ahead of time at the Ostrich Festival Wristband Redemption Happy Hour. It will be on March 8 and 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you are looking to avoid lines or you need additional assistance, festival representatives will be there to answer all questions. The wristband activation area will be in front of the Chandler Chamber of Commerce, located at 101 W Commonwealth Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225, and the happy hour will take place at both SanTan Brewery and Spirit House located at 8 S. San Marcos Pl, Chandler, AZ 85225. Drink specials will include $5 Ostrich Festival Lagers and $8 Flightless Bird cocktails (Spirit House location only).

Additionally, wristbands can be redeemed March 14-16 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Tumbleweed Park located next to Tumbleweed Recreation Center, located at 745 E. Germann Rd, Chandler, AZ 85286 at the wristband redemption tent. 

Organized by the Chandler Chamber of Commerce and Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations (SLE), the Ostrich Festival is known as one of the premier festivals in the southwest and a long-standing community tradition. The Ostrich Festival is a family-friendly festival featuring national and local award-winning entertainment, thrilling stage shows, over 50 carnival midway rides and games, classic festival food and interactive activities for all ages. 

Additional headliner acts already announced include MULTI-Grammy Award-winning pop-rock band Train (March 17), Grammy Award-Winning R&B and Funk Group, the Commodores (March 18) and Billboard Music Award-winning band, Sublime with Rome (March 19). 

General admission tickets start at $35 for adults, $20 for children, children four and under will be admitted to the festival free of charge. Limited VIP tickets are available starting at $150.
