Event Description
A Tribute to The Summer of Love

The Summer of Love tells the story of 60's counterculture, performing as its most memorable musical greats - Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty and more. A fun, high-energy, family-oriented show, Aquarius infuses humor & history while inviting audience participation. Aquarius' six members set out and succeed in bringing back wonderful memories for those who lived through the 60's and creating new memories for those too young to remember.

The Aquarius cast provides a very entertaining family-friendly "stars in concert" show in which they entertain, with multiple costume changes, as iconic rock stars of the late 60's - the Summer of Love/ Woodstock era, as Janis Joplin, Grace Slick, Sly Stone, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, John Fogerty, Country Joe (and the Fish) and others. They sing and play their instruments live without the use of voice enhancements or tracks!

Aquarius performs in character as some of the most soulful and revered musical artists of the 60's: Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Cocker, Grace Slick (Jefferson Airplane), Sly (and the Family) Stone, John Fogerty, Country Joe (and the Fish), John Kaye (of Steppenwolf), Mamas & the Papas, Burton Cummings (the Guess Who) and characters Flower and Stoney Munchalot.

A groovy time is guaranteed for all...

A journey back to the late 1960s with colorful costumes and groovy sounds. The crowd was thrilled to see both Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin on the same stage!...received numerous compliments about the show and the energetic performance that was given by the band. Kudos to you! - The City of Walnut

A true-to-life recreation of the very best of Woodstock and the Summer of Love Era, presented in a fun, family-friendly way that is a joy to witness. - Las Vegas Sun Review
